I am looking for documentation of the death of Hamilton ASH.
Court Minutes show that on 3 June 1889 G.H. Ash filed a motion for a new trial which was approved by the court. The defendant was ? F. Houston et al. This was recorded in Collin County Minute Book C. - Case #3592. I searched a microfilm copy of those records and could find no mention of what the trial was about. The retrial was later revoked because of the death of G.H. Ash. I would like to get more information about this trial and the death of G.H. ASH. Many hours of research have failed to find information concerning his death and burial. How would I get a transcript of the trial and what would it likely cost?
Below are brief records of information about the family.
General Hamilton ASH (most records show him as G.H. ASH and some as J.H. ASH)
The family was in Young Co in the 1880 census. School records of Young Co. show that they were there in 1884. By 1887 the family was in Collin Co. where a daughter, Martha, married Joseph Lee.
Collin Co. records show that in 1889 G.H. Ash & wife of Collin Co. sold their land in Young County.
In a delayed birth certificate affidavit Hamilton Ash was listed as a neighbor in 8 Jan 1891.
A daughter, Martha Lee, noted in her Bible that J.H. Ash died 21 Jul 1891
In 1893 his wife, Margaret Ash, was listed as a widow in a land transaction. By 1898 Margaret had filed for a homestead in Washita County, Oklahoma.
I would appreciate any help available.
