The last trace that I have of my g.g.grandfather, WRIGHT NANCE, was on the 1880 Collin County census. He was married to Catherine Doty, who was living in Johnson County with her father in 1890's. I assume that Wright, either died, had to leave the county, or was divorced during the 1880's. One of his sons (my g.f.) was John C. Nance who lived in Burnet county, and later died in Coryell county. If anybody knows how to access newpapers of that time, or how I could find out anything during the 1880's, I would appreciate it very much.
