Mary Elizabeth Benton, who m. Ephraim Clark Kindle son of William Braswell Kindle, was the daughter of Francis Wren Benton b.1836 MO & wife Susan Margaret Lock b.1844 MO; Susan was daughter of Jonas Lock. Here are some source notes from Betty Jo Kindle: "William B Kindle married first Martha A Fisher, the daughter of Martin Paul Fisher (for background on this Fisher family,see the "Fisher Family Scrapbook, 1730-1972" by William Jones, on file at TN State Archives and Tyler Public Library, Tyler, TX. After death of Martha A, William B Kindle married second Rachel P Fisher, the sister of Martha A. To William B & Martha A were born four children, Martin James Lewis Kindle, Rachael Kindle, Mary Ann Kindle and Samantha Ordie Kindle, for which see Collin County, TX probate records, Estate of Wm. B. Kindle, where children of Martha A and Rachael P are plainly set forth by Rachel P Fisher Kindle."
