Hello all, i am trying to trace any relatives, or information on this airman that was killed serving with the USAAF during WW2. He was killed on the 30th May 1943 flying from the US training base at Atcham in England.

The only information i have is that he was a Flight Officer Shelby O Buck (T190615) and that he was from Cochran County, Texas. I would be really grateful for any information on this man if it is possible? Where was he from in Cochran County? Are there any family members still living there?

Searching for information regarding JOSEPH BLANTON & VIOLA 'OLA' Ward Blanton. They had 2 sons: PAUL & ?. Paul born about 1908 in Stephen Co., OK. This family was supposed to have been in Morton, Cochran Co., TX about 1910 & later. For some reason they do not show on the census records from 1920 on & I know they are alive at this time! I am looking for information on Elmore "Dutch" ROWLAND who lived in Morton, Cochran Co., TX. He was born June 6, 1863 in McMinn Co., TN and died Sept 2, 1920 in Morton, TX. He was married to Bessie Ledford on Mar 31, 1889 in McMinn Co.,TN. They had a son named Floyd F. Rowland. "Dutch" Rowland was supposed to have owned a large amount of property and businesses in Morton. Can anyone help me? I would like to know where they are buried?

Some people say that Nancy Ivey Mitchell is buried in Cochran Co. Texas . She was born Feb.1833 in Arkansas. She married William Preston MItchell and they had at least one child named Emily Mitchell. If you see this Nancy in a cemetery in Morton Texas please let me know.

Looking for information on Alpheus BAKER m. Delta HENDERSON.
Alpheus was known as A Baker. He owned a small gas station in Morton and was killed in September, 1974 during a robbery. His wife Delta was killed in the 60's in a car accident somewhere between Denver City and Morton. I believe they are both buried in Morton. Any information would be appreciated.

I am trying to locate the burial dates and site for Cortie Ebb Coffman and his wife Cristine (McKenzie) Coffman, who are said to be buried in Morton Memorial Cemetery, Cochran County, TX. I am also looking for burials for their two sons, Kenneth Allen (C. E.) and Virgil.

I have searched and searched, but so far been unable to find any cemetery listing at all for this cemetery, and am quite anxious to find these dates and locations.

Rhonda Kinyon, 47, died Oct 21, 2001 at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth. Graveside services were held at Morton Cemetery in Morton, TX, Sat. Oct 27, 2001.

Rhonda was born Jan 6, 1954. She resided in Fort Worth since 1994 when she moved from Lubbock. She lived in Cross Plains from 1979 to 1984 and was employed at Colonial Oaks Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Paula Kinyon; her father Stretcher Stokes; her mother Pauline Stokes; and a brother, Rodney Stokes.

Survivors include a daughter, a sister and a grandson.

Would love any info the the Embry's who farmed in and around Morton, Cochran Co. Elton(Pete) Embry and siblings were raised there. My aunt Lucille(Dutch) moved with Pete, back to Morton from Lexington, OK in the late 1940's. They have seven children total. Pete farmed and Aunt Dutch started a second family of three boys in abt 1948-1953. Uncle Pete left farming and was driving a truck when he died in the mid 1950's leaving her to raise three very small boys. She died in Morton in 1972 and is buried along with the rest of the Embry's and uncle Pete in Morton. Would love to know the dates of Pete and the other Embry's.
