I am helping a friend find information about his father, Edward Paul Taylor. Mr. Taylor reportedly moved to the Anahuac area around the late 1940s or early 1950s when he was probably in his twenties or thirties and married a woman named Alma. He also had a hamburger cafe. He died when he was age 73. I am attempting to find out what cemetery he was buried in and where it is located and any information about children Edward and Alma may have had. If you have any information about this man or know someone who would, please email me at rickilear@yahoo.com

They are buried in the Anahuac Cemetary.
Their graves are located in the front center between the 1st and 2nd roads. Lot 747 spaces 5 and 6.

Elma Barr Taylor died 7-31-1992, and Paul Edward Taylor died 3-13-1989.

The library archives old Progress news papers and may have an obit. if you care to look further.

I remember the Taylors well. Eugene and I have eaten many a Taylor made hamburger.

I think Paul Taylor was a second or later husband, and I seem to recall Mrs. Taylor mentioning a daughter, although I never met her.

Their business was origionally located located about three house south of our house on the bay shore. Later they relocated by the

Frontier Bar on S61.
