I have a letter from Harry Roger Debenport that was sent to his niece, Allie Ray Debenport-Stone. I believe it was dated around 1953. There have been several Debenport's try to find out the ancestry. Most of my sources are from Terry Delbert Newfarmer (deceased), Hazel Reese-Debenport (also deceased), & Don Debenport from Houston, TX. In Harry's letter to Allie, he stated that his brother, Bob Sr, did the family tree & knew all the information. I do not know where that information went after his death. Bob Sr was my husband's grandfather. Harry also talked about a cousin from Arkansas that dropped in to see Bob. Robert (my hubby) put all my genealogy papers somewhere around our house, & I can't find them. A cousin, Mark Debenport, disagrees with me on who Robert Debenport's parents were. The Harry Debenport letter tells who Robert's family & wives were. Once I find the letter, I will scan it & send it to all the Debenports.
