hello. does anyone know anything about the ODD FELLOWS who were in the san benito/los fresnos area in 1924? my g grandfather was a member and family history states that the odd fellows buried him in a local cemetery. i am trying to find out which cemetery he is buried in. his name was 'thomas montgomery morris' b 1851 d 1924. thanks for any information you can share. -jo in texas

I didn't find him in the Texas deaths on ancestry of on familysearch. How sure are you of the date and place of death? And do you have more specific dates, a place of birth or any other names? If so, I'll try again.

i have thomas montgomery morris born in hancock co. IL 17 june 1851, died 8 april 1924 in los fresnos, cameron co., TX. he was married to my g grandmother, 2 april 1913 in ola, yell co., AR. i have seen the original marriage license! do you know if the odd fellows keep records of their memberships and is this public information i could see? i have traced mr. morris back to arkansas thru census records. -jo in texas
