I am looking for information on George NELSON who was married to Mary Elizabeth GUNN. George died in 1918 and Mary in 1930. They are burried in Crossplains, Callahan CO. TX. They had 7 children James Washington Nelson, Sara, Ed, George, Elsie, Jess, William. Any infomation would be helpful. Thankyou

I have a Charles Newton Gunn. married Nancy Huffman Sept. 5 1888 in Merkel, Tx. Taylor County.
Charles, dob.Feb. 25, 1844 Died Nov.14,1897 in Merkel.
One son, Joseph R.Gunn dob.1890 died 1957 in Merkel

Baird charge, Abilene district, Northwest Texas conference, was held at Briard Dec 7 1889, Rev. John A Wallace, P E in the chair.
After religious service conducted by Presiding Elder John A Wallace the roll was called, and the following members were present:
R F Dunn, John Carlile, W E Gilliland, A T Young, H h Hight, W T Stayton, J S Burnham, B C Clemmer, S L? Ogle, W H Bowlus, and G E Nelson. Visitor Rev. Daniel Logsdon? of Abilene mission.
A T Young was elected secretary.
F P Shackelford, J S Burnham, C A Clemmer, W L Lovelady, W T Wheeler were elected board of trustees at Putnam.
Brothers G E Nelson, W E Gilliland and A G Webb were appointed a committe to raise moeny and build a cistern at the parsonage.

I am looking for the family of Darry Walker Nelson. His father was George Washington Nelson son of Little Barry Ward Nelson. Darry graduated the Policlinic in Chicago in 1911. His residence was listed as Cross Plains, Tx.

My great grandfather was George W. Nelson and my great grandmother was Elizabeth Gunn. I have their death dates as 1929 and 1915, They are buried in the Cleveland Cemetery South east of Santaa Anna, Tx.

+ Barbary Ann Beck b 1828 Ohio & died Oct 2 1909 Baird Tx at 81y
For some reason she is buried in Bentonville ARK. She got sick there and believe they buried her there as she was visiting relatives.
