LEE CROWNOVER, 87, DIES; RITES TODAY IN ROSCOE
ROSCOE (RNS) ~~ Lee Crownover, 87, a resident of Nolan County for 30 years, died at Johnson Hospital in Loraine at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Roscoe, with the Rev. Lloyd Hair officiating. Burial will be in the Roscoe Cemetery.
Mr. Crownover was born in Fayette County, Texas September 24, 1879, and married Belle Gardner in Snyder in 1915. She died November 13, 1963.
He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a retired farmer. His home was at 206 Ash here.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Gray, Andie Lamb, Herbert Helm, Pat Mayes, Larry Wallace and Joe Holly.
Survivors include a brother, Frank of El Paso and number of nieces and nephews.
