My ggg.grandmother, Irena Polk, purchased land in Prairie Lea area from Moses Gray in the 1870's. I do not know if Moses was related to your line- but if so, I will be happy to scan the deed and email it to you.
I don't know that there is any connection to your Grey family, but Irene's parents were both born in Georgia.
The Miers and Clower families moved from Georgia to Arkansas; then some into Texas.
