From the Burnet Bulletin, Aug 1962

Mrs. Tom Beaird, age 70, former longtime resident of burnet, passed away August 20, 1962 in Baytown, Texas. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Aug 21, 1962 at the Central Baptist Church in Baytown with the Rev. Thomas B. Guinn, pastor, officiating.

Following services there, Mrs. Beaird was brought to Burnet by the Edgar Funeral Directors and she rested in state at the Edgar Memorial Chapel until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning when she was taken to the Oddfellows cemetery where graveside funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Thomas B. Guinn of Baytown.

Surviving her are: her husband, Mr. Tom Beaird of Baytown; two sons, L.F. Beaird of Baytown and A.T. Beaird of Pasadena; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

While Mrs. Beaird resided in Burnet, she was a member of the First Baptist Church.
