Does anyone know where Precinct no. 2 was or might have been in 1900? The census record shows for the township "Precinct No 2 South of T&P. RR" (Texas and Pacific railroad). Would it have been closer to the Louisiana state line or the Red River county line? I'm trying to locate a more specific place in Bowie County where my great-grandparents, Joel Jefferson and Mollie Evans, lived in 1900.

In 1920 my dad, Obie Deen, lived in precinct 3 which was just across the Red River county line.
