I will reply to my own message! Since I wrote the query, and thanks to the Texas records now online, I have learned that Hazel and Novelle Line were the same person. Sometimes listed as Hazel N. and sometimes as Novelle. Knowing that, I was able to find Novelle's marriage (to Carlos Hudgins) and death and also traced her daughter, Marjorie Line Hudgins Arnold, and Marjorie's daughter, Margo Carvelle Arnold. And, finally Margo's marriage and twin sons born in 1987--Christopher Talley and John Craig Talley.

So I do now know a lot about Novelle and her descendants, but I wonder if anyone else is working on this line. If so, I would love to correspond with you.
