Can anyone tell me anything about Jack Kirby, who is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Meridian, Texas? He was married to Margaret Venable Kirby, also buried there. Their infant son, Tom Venable Kirby, is also buried there. I have heard that Jack Kirby died in a plane crash, but don't know where. I don't believe it was Texas -- at least no Jack Kirby shows up in the Texas death index with a DOD of 1963 as shown on his marker. All information would be appreciated.
