Through some recent research, I've discovered that my great, great grandfather, E.A. and LOUISA J. FARLEY lived in Bell Cty during the 1870 and 1880 Census. I believe they met and were married in Bell County between 1865 and 1870. E.A. is believed to be from Va. and Louisa is from Alabama, but was born in Ga. Louisa's maiden name was McGUIRE. Her Father, JAMES MCGUIRE, and her brother, JAMES W. MCGUIRE, also lived in Bell County during this time. JAMES MCGUIRE was a druggist, and his son, JAMES W. MCGUIRE, was a physician. LOUISA had also been married previously and had two children, MARY T. MCCRARY and JOHN MCCRARY. After her and E.A. married, they had JAMES ADKISSON FARLEY, b. 1/24/1875, and FRANCIS STEVEN FARLEY, b. 12/24/1878 E.A. was a farmer.
