I'm interested in the Czerner ancestry in Silesia. I'm of the Czerner family, but through Silesia -> Germany -> Argentina -> USA. My great-great-grandfather Franz Czerner lived in Laurahuette, near Kattowitz, Upper Silesia, in the 1880s. He died in Silesia before 1910. His wife was Franziska Semla.

I'm fascinated to find out that possibly some of my relations had emmigrated to Texas and became Polish/German cowboys.

I'm interested to know if anyone has done extensive tracing back in the Silesian homeland of the Czerners.
