My grandfather was in a oil rig fire around Dec. 12, 1955. He and my grandmother lived in Andrews at the time. My grandfather died. His name was Jewell Grant Kirkpatrick. I would appreciate if someone could find either or both the obituary and the newspaper article about the fire and send it to me. I live near Waco and would help you this direction. Thanks so much!

Graveyard at the C Ranch of Andrews county

I am looking for the C Ranch. Does it still exist? In 1902 my
grandmother died on the trail from Kerr co.,Tx. to Engle,N.M.
Territory. She was buried in a graveyard at the C Ranch that
was 25 miles north west of Midland,Tx.
Is there anyone that can help me??

My grandmother was Roxina P Hardin/Harden abt.77 years old. I don't know if any kind of stone was errected for her?
Her son Jake made sure she had a proper burial.

Looking for information on Claiborne William Carroll and wife, Thelma Grace Renfro.

According to WWII Draft Registration, they were living in Cotton County, Oklahoma in July 1944. By 1951, they were living in Swisher County, TX and then Andrews County, TX.

Claiborne Carroll died 11 June 1986 in Andrews Co., TX and Thelma Renfro Carroll died 15 October 1990 in Tarrant Co., TX. Both maybe buried in Andrews Co., TX.

Also need to know if Thelma's parents were William Bryant Renfro and Maggie Harris.

To whom ever reads this could you please help me in my search to find my grandmother and a possible aunt.My grandmother would be in her mid 60's and my aunt would be in her late 30's. (not positive have never personally met them) Grandmothers name would be Bertha Mae Wilson ( madien name Anslow) but had a daughter Tammy Hill . Bertha was married in the 60's to my grandfather Kenneth L Wilson Sr. , and a few years later they were divorced. During there marriage they had 2 children together. A daughter (terri - my mother) and a son (my uncle- kenneth Wilson jr.). I am searching for these women for medical reasons. THIS IS VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT. Last know place was OK and TX. Any information on these women would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

Need to give all some important information. County clerks of Texas are now authorized to give to surviving next of kin the actual original wedding license of their ancestors.

I recently received wedding license of my great grandfather, Thomas Lamar Russell who married Sara Jane McBride in 1869. This was obtained from the County Clerk's office in Waco and they were very kind to search their old records and find this.
