I am looking for the 9 living children of my great grandmother Mary Virgina Short-Weiss.
I knew already where her youngest daughters ended up. The pretty much stayed in Ellis Co, most their lives.
Then Found her bachelor son Louise Martin jet-setting for the oil company based out of California.
William possibly ended up in Anderson. The Anderson Wm. had sons Theodore and Maurice by 1920, both born early 1900s.
It looks like he had a small family, possibly because travel.

Maurice was a more common name than I had assumed at the time of naming and William and Ted definitely are.
His father would be "Joe"and was actually born in Germany.

My! My! "Sometimes death certificate informants are not well informed."-Yours Truly! Mary Virginia Short died at age 62 in 1934? Don't believe it! She was at least age 60 in 1910! She was the same person identified as Jane-age 30-on 1880 KY-Webster-Dixon-District 25-Page 37. Reasoning? View online death certificate for Mary Jenkins (4 Nov 1875 - 31 Dec 1954). Mary was born in Kentucky and died in Anderson County, TX. Parents identified as Joseph Weiss of Germany and Jennie Short of Kentucky by Mrs. W. B. Hastings. She was the daughter on the same 1880 census identified as Mary C, age 4. If Virginia's birthdate on the death certificate was true, then she gave birth at age 3? Mary Weiss married George M. Jenkins 22 Aug 1895 in Webster, KY. Find Mary Jenkins in 1900 KY-Webster-Dixon-District 89-Page 6, 1910 TX-Collin-Nevada-District 26-Page 9, and 1930 TX Anderson-Palestine-District 5-Page 11. They hid from me in 1920!!!
