Anyone have Byron D. Griffin in their records?...he would be a great great uncle of mine. He was b. in 1848 in Stamford, NY, is in 1850,1860 census with parents Jonathan and Deborah Ann and siblings Julian and Florence. Byron enlisted in the US military in 1870 in West Virginia, left military in 1872 in Texas...can't read name of Fort. (ancestry.com ) I would love to find his descendants. His sister Florence m. Edgar Van Buren Ives in Meriden and had my grandmother, Ethel Florence Ives.
