I am related to this incredible couple. As you undoubtedly know, they were both governors of Texas during their infameous reign. Pa's sister was my great grandmother. She married a Southern Pacific Railroad worker named Jerry Sparkman and they lived and died in Corsicana, Texas. He died early on, but not before they had a son, Irvay Sparkman, who married George Tidd (yes, George was a woman) at age 15 and had my father, Jerry Sparkman in Waco, TX before returning to Corsicana. I have photos of my great-grandmother, her son and my father, as well as the house which is now an historical site, I believe. I have the names and dates filed away in a box, but can dig them out and post them if you like.
