Hi, Is there anyone out there researching Jonathan Trippet of Blount Tennessee who is listed as a soldier in the American Revolution from Tennessee. May have been from Virginia and lived in the area of North Carolina that later became Tennessee. He lived in the Anderson Walker District in East Tennessee in the 1790's. Jonathan had a daughter, Jane who married William Harris (born 1779 South Carolina and died in 1858 in Murray, Georgia). William and Jane were married in Blount, TN. Jane must have predeceased her father because she was not mentioned in his will and his estate was left to her children. Jonathan died about 1834 in Blount, TN. In his will he left instructions for his slaves to be freed. William Harris and some of his and Jane's children moved to Murray County, including my gggrandfather John Nichols Harris with his wife Nancy Garner also of Blount. Some of William and Jane's children moved to Indiana. I have very little on Jonathan and Jane Trippett and wondered if anyone could help with my brick walls?
Thanks,
