William was b.1755 probably in Culpeper Co VA d.1752 Decatur Co TN; he was a Patriot & served as private in 2nd Regmt VA Line throughout the Revolution. I have clues, but not proofs, that my 4th great grandfather, William Kindel b.1781 VA d.ca1865 Phillips Co AR m.28 Jan 1800 in Greene Co TN Elizabeth Webb, was another son of William Kindle b.1755, or perhaps the relationship was nephew & uncle--need more info to figure out the relationship. So, I follow closely the info surrounding both William Kindle b.1755 and William Kindel b.1781 trying to find more about both of them. The fact of the wife of William Kindle b.1755 being named Tabitha ____ only recently came to light from the death record of their daughter Sally Kindle who m. William Ledgerwood Jr; Sally died 1858 in Roanoke Co VA and the published death record notes her parents were William & Tabitha "Kinnel".
