Willene Randolph
SPARTA -- Funeral services for Willene Randolph, 73, of Sparta, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, from the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Board Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Randolph died on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at her home.
She was born on May 14, 1933, in White County to the late William Caney and Elizabeth Guynelia Clouse Selby.
Mrs. Randolph enjoyed gardening, flowers, farming, sewing, music, playing the organ, giving assistance and guidance to others, and visiting, especially her grandchildren and friends. She was a member of Corinth Church of Christ.
Her family includes two sons and daughters-in-law, James Bethel and Cathy Randolph, and Larry William and Judy Randolph, all of Sparta; a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Jean and Dan Parrett of Huntington, Ind.; a brother and sister-in-law, Bethel and Mickey Selby of Crossville; a sister, Elise Evans of Sparta; 10 grandchildren, Donald James and Jay Lee Randolph, Constance Eileen Kramer, Leslie Rachelle Thorn, April Machelle Pressler, Joanna Lynn Saleem, Diana Jean Combs, Jillena Kay McCallister, Jeremy Jason Turner and Junne Louise Grove; 20 great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Mr. Shirley Green of Sparta.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Azer Randolph; an infant son; a grandson, Joshua William Randolph; and a sister, Irene Taylor.
Bro. John Pippin will officiate at the services.
