Thanks for the reply, Lola. John W. Clemens is my great, great grandfather also, through his daughter Arabella who was a child from his first marriage. Which child do you descend from? I have a wealth of information regarding his siblings and descendents and their families. Many of his family came West during the 1860's as did Arabella who wrote her family history for her descendents here. Her journals have been a valuable genealogy resource for me. I know Abraham B. Barger was the step-father to John and his siblings but I have yet to learn his mother's or father's name or when or where they were married. Any info you have regarding them would be a real gift. I will share any info you are interested in but it sounds as though your info is very complete.
