Does anyone have any information on Calvin Pate, b.1811 m. Jemima Johnson, b.1815? They had 14 children, moved to TX in 1857. Family Bible lists his father as Daniel Pate, d.1823. Calvin's mother was Huldah Pate.

I just found your post on rootsweb message board. I am a descendant of Calvin Pate. He is my ggg-grandfather.

In your post you mentioned a family Bible. Is that in your possession, a library, or somewhere else? I would very much like to get a copy of the records contained in that Bible, if possible, and will be glad to pay for any costs.

Also, in my research I have not been able to determine parents of Daniel. Do you have any info on who they were?
