Hi, Carol, I've also begun researching the Galey-Pence line as part of my Tennessee family. I was born in Weakley County, lived in Greenfield as a child.
Robert Lee Pence (B L Pence, husband of your grandMother Anna (Annie) C Galey) was son of William H Pence and Mattie (Carlton) Pence. (1900 Weakley County census)
William H Pence is son of David D Pence. (1870 Weakley County census)
