I would like to say at this time my mother was Leila Estelle Cagle born 1918 New Market, Madison Co, AL and her ancestors were McMinnville, Warren Co, TN. She married Carl Elbert Campbell and his ancestors were all Madison Co, AL back to War 1812 Mississippi Territory. My mother had as an ancestor Jacob Martin born 10-12-1772 which may connect to your Mary Elizabeth Martin who married Watson Cantrell.

I just noticed MOSES Cantrell and that is the one who is in DeKalb Co, TN 1860 as age 55 (b1805) NC with land and living with son Jesse R. Cantrell. By 1920 the daughter of Jesse R. Cantrell is living in Madison County, Alabama. Thanks to you I believe I found her family also.
