Hello: I've been looking through some Warren Co. grant info to try and place the location of my ancestors, and have found two references to mills that I cannot find anything more on. One is Strand's Mill, ['on the Barren Fork of the Collins River between 1/4 and 1/3 mile below Strand's Mill'] and the other is Chaffel's Mill ['on the waters of Barren Fork toward William Duncan's'].

Does anyone with a knowledge of this area know of these old mill sites? I think this area might have become Cannon County, but the land references are dated 1824 and thus in the Warren County Grant book.
