There is an old Mill and dam at the old community of Clearmont which is very near the Cannon county line but still in Warren County. The Mill Pond still holds water and the mill itself is still standing. I believe this tributary
of the Barren Fork is called BULLPEN CREEK. There is another old mill on Tic-tac road called Bryans Mill. The dam still stands, but the millhouse is gone. There are parts of the mechanical wheels still lying around. I am not familiar with Strands Mill or Chaffel's Mill. They don't sound like Warren County names.
