My gg grandparents Mason Brummett is said to be buried at Watson Cemetery in Hartsville, TN according to his death certificate. His second wife Susan F. [Montgomery] Brummett is said to be buried at a Brummett Cemetery in Trousdale Co., TN according to her death certificate. Anyone heard of these two cemeteries?
Mason and his 1st wife Lizzie [Richard/s] had 5 children before she died about 1880 in Trousdale Co., TN. She is supposed to be buried at Isham Beasley burial ground by Cato, in Trousdale Co., TN! One of Lizzie and Masons sons Edward or Edgar Brummett had a daughter named Susan F. Brumett (died young) buried at Jessie Beasley Cemetery. I would like to know who E.D.Brummett is Edward or Edgar? Combining the children from Mason Sr.'s 2 marriages there was a total of 23 to 24 children. This family married into the Beasley, Hoover, Lackey, Butcher, Brooks, Montgomery, Balou, Cunningham, Presley, Stafford, Ford, Holder families just to mention a few. Mason was also a Union Civil War Veteran. He served in Company K 13th KY Cavalry.
