Brick wall - Beckey/Becky Chambers (DOB 01/15/1844) married William E. Robertson in Sumner County in 1880. She was widowed with two children; his story was the same. She died in Texas when her and William went to visit her children. On her death cert, her parents are listed as R. Chambers and Becky Collier. I think this was a mistake and her maiden name was Collier and she married the Chambers. (G.M. Collier signed her marriage bond to marry William) However, I do realize it is a possibility she had two children out of wedlock and her maiden name was truly Chambers. Her son was William Anderson Chambers (1864) and daughter was Cora Elizabeth Chambers (1869). I cannot find her or her children before 1880! And so far, I don't know who G.M. Collier is to Rebecca! I would appreciate any tidbit of info anyone has - even if it doesn't fit exactly. It might be that missing link to find out who her family is and where they started. Thanks!
