Hello all... I'm trying to find more info on Alec H. Melton supposedly
born in shelby, tn .... b 4 dec 1919 (anyone in shelby could lookup a birth cert on him to get parent's names?) died 14 mar 1995 in florida

he was in the navy

he married (7 mar 1945 in maine ) gertrude agnes barrett b 1 nov 1922
d 11 jun 1986


i have not had much luck finding him in any census...

i did find him and gertrude listed in biddeford maine directory in 1950 and 1951

and i found him in the SSDI but other than that i've had no luck

any info would be greatly appreciated....
