Page 737 of the book "In the Shadow of the Smokies" lists Sevier County Soldiers of the American Revolution. The information was taken from pension applications and other lists. These veterans of the Revolution are known to have been in Sevier County.
KENDLE, William 21 Aug 1752 18 Nov 1834
KINDLE, William ca. 1759 not known.
I didn't see any burials in the book's index by the name of KENDLE or KINDLE.
