I believe these three are from the same family. Listed as George A. Esslinger, age 22, I believe is Alexander in the census, enlisted Feb. 28, 1862 in the Second Tennessee Infantry, Company K; captured by Rebels at Battle of Rogersville; taken to Andersonvile Prison where he died May 20, 1864

Isaac Esslinger, age 22, enlisted 2-28-62 same regiment. Captured at Rogersville, sent to Rebel prison at Richmond where he died 15 Jan 1864

Robert Esslinger, age 24. enlisted same as above; captured as above; died at Rebel prison at Richmond 11 April 1864
