Am trying to locate any information on my gggrandparents, William Franklin MOORE (b abt 1849/TN d May 1912 buried in Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Scott Co., TN) married abt 1876 to Sarah Spencer Pryor (b Dec 1857/TN d Jun 1910 buried in Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Scott Co., TN). This is my brick wall family. I know that at one time they lived in Byrdstown because that is where my ggrandfather George Alivs Moore was born but that is all I can find on them. William was in Scott Co. in the 1900 and 1910 census but I am trying desperately to find out who his parents were. Did they do obits in the newspapers then? What is a town close to this cemetery? Anything would help. Thanks to any who can assist me.
