I am looking for information about a family that used to live in Scott County, TN. My father's maternal grandparents were Nancy and Frank Young. Nancy was born on March 1, 1881 and died on August 16, 1963. Frank was born on September 1, 1872 and died on February 10, 1955. They are both buried in Chadwell Cemetery near White Oak in Campbell County, TN. My father's name was David Byrd, and he was born in Scott County on July 17, 1923. My father's mother died when he was a very young child, and he was raised by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Nancy Young. His mother is buried somewhere in Scott County. I do not know her name. I was told that my father had a younger brother whose name may have been Elmer. I was also told that my father had a younger sister. I don't know what her name may have been. I don't know anything about my father's family and I would like to learn. If anyone might have some information to give me, I would appreciate hearing from you.
