Surnames: Bell, Lewis, Moore, Hollis, Barton
Seeking info about my g-g-g-g-grandparents and the family who lived in/around Rutherford Co.
>>James Bell was the first clerk of the Brawley Fork Baptist Church. His affiliation with this church is born out in a deed dated 15 July 1807 between Joshua Barton of the one part and James Bell and William Hollis and other trustees of the other part. It was a gift of land to be used for the future site of the Brawley Fork Church located south-east of Readyville.<<
1809 My 3rd g-grandfather Samuel BELL was born. He later became a preacher teaching the Gospel to the Native American tribes through out KY and TN. Married Mary Millie MOORE in 1828. He died UNK most likely in MO.
Siblings: Elisha, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ester, Margaret, William, Mary (Polly), Martha, Abraham, & Nancy Ermiline.
