Has anyone seen anything on Maraday (Moraday) Tucker? His enlistment record shows he was born abt 1790 in Randolph Co. NC (he was 23 when enlisting in 1813). He enlisted at Highwasse NC; was taken prisoner. He later shows up in Rutherford Co. TN married to Mary Margaret Ford, daughter of John Ford, of Burke Co., NC, as they are selling land left by her father. I do find an 1830 Census record in Rutherford Co. TN of a Meredith Tucker, with family members the right age to be Moraday & Mary Margaret, but ...? Searching all Rutherford County TN Tuckers to try to find the connection to my Tucker
