married first to Magaret Champ in Davidson Co. in 7-25-1827 in Robertson Co., in 1850 census ; William 47; Margaret 40; Robert 21; Phebe 19; John 12; William L. 10; Thomas 8; and Charity 6. In 1860 in Robertson Co. married to Maranda Cook on 8/20/1851. What happened to Margaret? in 1850 Maranda was living with family named Phipps and she was 22 years olf there were two children names Cook with her James 3; and Julitha 7/12months old. Later Julitha appears in census as Baldwin. Hope someone has some answers. things are confusing. Also the Knight family George and Mary Knight had several daughters one who is my children's Grandmother, who is deceased Lula Ellizabeth Knight Baldwin. Married to Haywood Baldwin . Her mother was Fronnie Knight also called Frances Knight in school records on her kids.help!?!
Also Fronnie was a midwife and delivered several babies in county.
