Tressa, I am not particularly looking for a William M. Green or a Lucy. I am trying to find the parents of my great great grandmother Mary Jane Green. Several records indicate that she went by Mary Green. She was born @ 1845. Mary Green married my great great grandfather Elisha Scott on Jan 27, 1864 in Davidson Co. He was from Roane Co. and I believe Mary may have been from East Tennessee also but I don't know that she was. Mary Green's has Virginia as "father's birthplace" on the 1880 census. She was born in Tennessee and has Tennessee as mother's birthplace. So your Greens probably aren't my Mary Green's people. Thanks for the response. Jeanie bohpoli@aol.com
