From the intersection of Interstate 40 and
Gallaher Road, travel south on
Gallaher Road until it deadends into
Highway 70. Turn left and travel on
Highway 70 for about 2.7 miles and turn Right onto New Midway Road. Travel on new midway road for about 2.2 miles and turn right onto a gravel road that takes you to the cemetery. The "gravel road" leading to the cemetery is overgrown and easy to miss. We had to stop for directions. Close to Midway road there is a little patch that kinda looks like it was once gravel. It is just a short distance and there is a gate with an angel on top.
The angel is by the trees. You can see the gate from the road. The first time we went we parked close to Midway Rd and my hubby walked up to see if that was it. A wild boar charged out of the bushes toward him. Luckily he was more scared of my hubby. We went back later to put my gr grandfathers headstone back up. We pulled our van onto the "gravel" road, but the ground was dry and hard. I wouldn't recommed it after a rain. There isn't a church there anymore, the closest one is New Midway
