Surnames: GODSEY, COX?, FARMER/FORMER?
I am interested in any information on the surname GODSEY, but particularly on a Luther GODSEY said to have been born 18 Dec 1894 in Spring City, Rhea Co. TN.
Parents were Franklin Marion GODSEY and ?Nanie Former or Farmer.
By 1930, Luther was married to a Kate (possibly Cox) and lived in McCreary Co. KY.
Would be glad to share what little information I have on this family and will appreciate any input or suggestions for research in Rhea County
