Jeanne, I mentioned this to Ann B. who posted the earlier Luther Godsey queries but I believe "your" John Marion Godsey is the son of Nancy Farner Godsey and that he is the grandson of George Washington Farner b. @ 1843 and Catherine Hardbarger Farner. I am interested in George because he was in the CSA 43rd Tennessee Co. B. There is a photo of George in his uniform on the web page for the Descendants of the 43rd at 43dtenn.com
