I thank you for information that you have contributed. I have all that and have looked over the widows pension and his pension for any clues. The only clue that was in his was that he was in a small area (post office)Tarriffville was where he was living this in the late 1890's. This is part of
Monroe County. I would have thought this was where he would be buried in this area.I have checked all the cemeteries in that area that I know of and could find on line. The widows pension had several letters of neighbors writing letters on her behalf. The next door neighbor was a sister in law that married Joseph V.West's brother. I wanted to find his brother and possibly where he was buried. But nothing there.I keep getting good clues but brick walls spring up.
