I am in the process of buying an old farm on Friendship Church Road. I was told it was part of the old "Jimmy Mayfield" farm. It is an old farm house with a barn just before you get to the church on the right hand side of the road. There is a Spring and branch out front, the house sits on a hill. I am trying to find out some history of the farm, home, etc. I would like to restore the old farm house as close to the original as possible. We live without electricity or plumbing. We are excited about our move and would love to hear stories and history of the farm and house, or surrounding area if anyone knows anything. I appreciate it and hope to be having our old fashioned get to know everyone picnic at the branch soon.
