Just saw your 2003 post regarding Shadrack. Did you know there were 2 Shadrack Carsons in Polk Co., TN in 1850? The one you asked about was in Arkansas in 1860, and his daughter, Lydia, was married. Lydia and her husband were listed in Shadrack's household.

The other Shadrach Carson whose wife was Mary (Polly) Turner, died before 1860, but his wife and most of their children went to Walker County, GA. My ancestors were of this family. Could they have been your ancestors, too? I would be happy to exchange information, if you need what I have.
