I have a John Swindle as a son of Caswell but did not have any middle initials. We are of the line of Nancy Caroline Swindle who married Nepthali Tracy. Nancy Caroline was a daughter of Caswell. We have some information about their building a Swindle College (actually a boarding school of higher education at the time) in Barry County, MO and have pictures of it. Nancy Caroline married and stayed in Perry and Henderson County, TN. She was a wonderful teacher and taught her children well. They were all lawyers, teachers and doctors. Most of them came to Oklahoma. One in the land run and he persuaded the others to come here also. I don't think I have much info on Caswell but will be glad to share what you may want....This is my husband's family. He may write to you also.
