Baker b. ca 1825 married Rebecca Hutchison d/o William D. and Nancy Anna Hutchison of Jackson Co., TN. His brother, Claibourne Baker married Elizabeth Hutchison, sister of Rebecca. Abrahm moved by 1832 to Jackson Co., TN and then to Smith Co., TN by 1840. From there we went to Izard Co, Arkansas by 1850. In 1859 he and his son Wesley Baker moved to Swan Creek, Tanney Co., MO. where he died in the fall of 1860. Abraham oldest son was James Baker who also lived in Jackson Co., TN. James' son, Calvin C. Baker, ended up back in Overton Co., TN. The Bakers and Hutchisons families fled TN in the summer of 1860 after the ambush/murder of Claiborne Baker as the rest of the family was also threatened. Family was reportedly mixed blood Cherokee.
