Does anyone have any history of the Brock families that were
in Overton co. Tn and Cumberland and Clinton Co. Both
James Brock and his son Allen Brock owned land in Overton
Co. in early 1800's James Brock was married to MIldred Crain
who had prev. been married to Jesse Bond and supposedly
both James Brock and his wife Mildred Crain Bond Brock
are buried there.
Allen Brock was in the 1st Tn Reg. Vol. of the war of 1812
he left Clinton Co. to go to Cherokee co. Tx. but most of
his siblings stayed in the Overton, Fentress, Tn. area.
Does anyone have any info on Jesse Bond who prob. died in
Overton Co. Tn
