Jean (George) Forrester, 74, of Union City, who died July 1, 2008, at her home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bobby Stewart officiating.

Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Moultrie, Glenn Headden, Bill Threlkeld, Alfred Howell, Robin Wood and John Bell. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Wood.

The family requests that memorials be made to Masquerade Theatre.

Mrs. Forrester was born Oct. 15, 1933, in Obion County, daughter of the late Floyd and Agnes Ozella (Newberry) George. She married Rebel Cary “R.C.” Forrester June 21, 1953. He survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Exchange Street Church of Christ. She had also performed and made costumes for Masquerade Theatre and was a member and contributor to Writers’ Ink.

She is also survived by her son, Mark R. Forrester of Bakersfield, Calif.; her daughter, Susan Dudley of Granite Falls, N.C
